Berlin, Connecticut is located in the exact geographical middle of Connecticut which has earned it the nickname, “Country Charm at the center of Connecticut.” The country charm comes from the peaceful country lifestyle of its residents. Berlin is also recognized as one of the birthplaces of interchangeable-parts manufacturing and of the American Industrial Revolution. 

A quick drive north (10 miles) will land you in Connecticut’s capital city, Hartford. At nearly 400 years old, Hartford is one of America’s oldest cities. It is also known as the insurance capital of the world, because Hartford houses many of the largest insurance companies’ headquarters. In fact, JP Morgan himself called Hartford home as he put his handprint on this enormous industry.
